Excel Youth Zone is pleased that Youth Service America select XYZ to be one of only a few Semester of Service lead agencies in the nation. Our focus is for our youth to lead the way and to support teachers and afterschool staff in planning a service-learning project this semester. Youth from Club eXcel LEAD THE WAY by creating service-learning projects on MLK Day of Service (Jan. 18), Cesar Chavez Day of Service (Mar. 31), and the LARGEST project at Servapalooza to celebrate Global Youth Service Day (Apr. 25).

On March 31st can you add this to the end of the sentence that exist. Club eXcel is planning a service-learning project for April 3rd with the Ronald McDonald House to honor Cesar Chavez.

Join us in San Jose, California for the 21st Annual National Service-Learning Conference at the San Jose Convention Center, March 24-27, 2010!

The conference is the largest gathering of youth and practitioners involved in service-learning, drawing nearly 2,500 attendees from across the United States and many other countries each year. Through three days of general sessions, featured forums, and service-learning projects, the conference engages participants in the myriad local, national, and global issues that service-learning addresses.
